Marshon Lattimore leaves Commanders-Eagles injured

The Washington Commanders find themselves in a late-game dogfight against the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles. However, the Commanders trail the Eagles 30-28 due to a late-game turnover by Jayden Daniels, who intercepted a tipped pass.

The team is also without a leader at the secondary level. According to the broadcast, it is questionable whether four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Marshon Lattimore will return to the matchup due to a hamstring injury.

The team needs his services as the Commanders need a big stop to get back into the swing of things and give them a chance to win the game.

Unfortunately, Lattimore suffered a hamstring injury, the same injury that has sidelined him for four games and five weeks since being traded from the New Orleans Saints.

Lattimore also made his Washington debut last week in a win over the Saints, and it’s unfortunate to see him sidelined again. He should stay out for the last few minutes of the game and then assess the injury to determine the severity before further aggravating the Achilles tendon.
