Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers recap: Results, highlights, news

The Dallas Cowboys are playing their third straight home game in front of a huge television audience as they now go from Thanksgiving Day to September 13th Monday Night Football To Football on Sunday evenings. America’s Team and all that jazz. It’s the first time they’ve ever played a game despite being eliminated from the playoffs as a team.

This time the Cowboys are hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and are underdogs even in the home game. While Dallas has won three of their last four games, the Buccaneers have won all of their last four games. Needless to say, it will be a difficult trip.

We’ll see how well the Cowboys do and if they can get four out of five points. The early stages of this season were extremely tough, but they have been playing very well for about a month.

This post serves as an ongoing review for us. We’ll update things quarterly and sort them at the end of the game so they can be read in chronological order.

We’ve known for a while that Trevon Diggs’ season is over, but the Cowboys officially placed him on injured reserve on Saturday.

In response, Dallas signed Andrew Booth to the active roster.


NFL news relevant to the Cowboys

As mentioned above…the Washington Commanders defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, eliminating the Cowboys from playoff contention in the process.

The Droughtâ„¢ is only getting worse.


Next up are the Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys face their final road trip of the season next Sunday when they visit the Philadelphia Eagles. They then return home to receive the Washington Commanders before concluding everything.
