Patrick Mahomes’ daughter Sterling, 3, cheers for him during an NFL game

Patrick Mahomes’ biggest fan might be his daughter!

The 29-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback played against the Houston Texans on Saturday, December 21, and his wife Brittany Mahomes brought the whole family to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri to cheer on Patrick.

Brittany, also 29, shared several real-time videos and photos from the game on her Instagram Stories. The first featured a clip of the couple’s three-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, wearing a cozy white hat and long-sleeved red Chiefs shirt, clapping her hands excitedly as her father’s face appeared on the jumbotron. In the moments before as they sat in a stadium suite, Sterling was also seen sweetly clutching her mother’s hand.

Brittany also shared an adorable photo of her two-year-old son Bronze, dressed in red and resting his head on his mother’s chest.

The former soccer player regularly brings her children to games to show her support for Patrick, with her little ones often wearing hearing-protecting headphones.

And the Mahomes family fan club is about to get even bigger: Brittany is pregnant and expecting the couple’s third child. On December 2, the expectant mother shared black-and-white maternity photos with her followers on Instagram. In the pictures, she was seen flaunting her stomach in a long black maxi skirt and a matching long-sleeved black shirt.

“Baby🥹🤍,” she captioned the post.

Patrick wasn’t the only player to receive high-profile support at the game. Taylor Swift was spotted entering Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday to cheer on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The pop star wore a stylish red coat and a black fur hat.

The Chiefs were expected to face a tough opponent in their matchup against the Texans and already suffered an unexpected setback earlier this week when Patrick was forced to miss his team’s game against the Cleveland Browns on December 15th with an ankle injury. It was unclear whether the quarterback would be able to play in Saturday’s game, but Chiefs coach Andy Reid confirmed Patrick would start in a statement on Thursday, December 19, according to ESPN.

“I’ve been through this with him before,” Reid said, referring to Patrick overcoming previous injuries. “And he surprised me every time he did it. “The guy was so mentally strong and just developed the mindset that he was going into this (from) where he was a few days ago.”

And it appears that the bet on Patrick paid off: The Chiefs emerged victorious in their December 21 game, defeating the Texans 27-19. This puts their record for the 2024-2025 NFL season at 14 wins and just one loss.
