The explosive rookie delivers the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ first goal against the Dallas Cowboys on SNF

The Bucs were one of the best teams in the NFL at scoring points on their first drives.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case when the Bucs took the field against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

Instead, it was the Cowboys who took the early lead while the Bucs wasted their first two offensive possessions and couldn’t put any points on the board. Luckily for Tampa Bay, their third chance yielded a different result.

A beautiful catch by Mike Evans resulted in a 26-yard gain for the Bucs. From then on, it was the Bucky Irving show. First, the rookie’s leading rusher ran 15 yards to carry the ball toward the Cowboys’ red zone. Another strong take from Irving moved the Bucs to the 2-yard line, where he did the job himself, scampering untouched into the end zone.

Irving’s 7th TD of the season came at a crucial time for the Buccaneers, who fell behind 10-0 early in the game. Luckily, Bucky Irving did what he has done all season and dismantled the Cowboys defense to help his team put points on the board.

The Bucs will need a lot more of that from their talented youngsters if they want to pull out a win in a crucial road game on Sunday Night Football.
