Did Shah Rukh Khan Beat Honey Singh? The rapper finally breaks his silence

When a section of a documentary begins with the words: “Nine years later, let me tell you what really happened. Nobody knows what I’m about to tell you on camera,” know that interesting details are to follow.

In his recently released documentary, rapper Honey Singh addressed the rumors that Shah Rukh Khan received a slap in the face during a tour of the United States, which resulted in him receiving stitches in his head. So are the rumors true?

Honey shared this after making the blockbuster Lung dance for Shah Rukh’s film Chennai Expressthe actor called on him to go on tour with him. Although Honey was overworked, he still agreed to accept the offer.

One night during the tour, the rapper shared that he was unable to perform but was forced to do so anyway.

“When they brought me to Chicago for the show, I said, ‘I don’t want to perform.’ I was sure I was going to die during this show. Everyone told me to get ready but I refused. My managers came over and said, ‘Why don’t you prepare?’ I said, ‘I’m not going,'” he shared.

In order to no longer have to perform, he shaved his head.

“I went to the toilet, got a trimmer and shaved my hair off. I said, ‘How am I going to do now?’ They said, ‘Wear a hat and perform,'” he shared.

When shaving his head didn’t work either, he smashed a cup on his head. The injuries and stitches were due to this and not to Shah Rukh’s slap, the rapper clarified.

“There was a coffee cup lying there. I picked it up and hit my head,” he said.

“Someone spread a rumor that Shah Rukh Khan slapped me. This man loves me, he will never raise his hand against me,” Honey remarked.

In the documentary, Honey’s sister said that after this incident, she decided to take Honey back to India immediately.

She said: “I was in my room. He informed me that something was wrong with me. He said can you come on Skype? And then he said: “Mujhe please bacha lo, gudiya mujhe please bacha le‘ (Please save me, my doll). And then he disconnected.

The documentary titled Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous explores the different timelines in the rapper’s life. It is now streaming on Netflix.
