Tre Harris injury update: Ole Miss WR’s status revealed in injury report ahead of Egg Bowl

A few hours before kickoff at the Egg Bowl, Mississippi State vs. No. 14 Ole Miss has released his latest injury report.

This comes after the last two days, where the first report was published on Wednesday and an update is made on Thursday. Between the two days, only one team had changes to their designations in terms of status and there was another new addition to their roster. This actually applies to today, as the date for the regular season finale is set for a Friday.

The Bulldogs had no changes to their report with eight players all out for today in Oxford. They are all names that are either lower on the depth chart or were previously listed on the injury report.

The Rebels then made up the bulk of the report, now with 11 players after starting with 10. Three players are out for them, while S Jadon Canady was added, who is still likely to play. Most notably, WR Tre Harris, their leading receiver and one of the best in the game, was downgraded from questionable to doubtful. The only other change was WR Izaiah Hartrup going from questionable to probable. This means that only RB Logan Diggs is questionable, five players are now likely.

Here’s what the final injury report looks like for the Egg Bowl ahead of this afternoon’s rivalry finale for Mississippi State and Ole Miss:

That meant Mississippi State once again listed the same eight players. Ole Miss then removed half of their names, with RB Logan Diggs, WR Izaiah Hartrup, DE Princely Umanmielen, TE Dae’Quan Wright, WR Jordan Watkins and OL Reece McIntyre all active today. However, WR Tre Harris was officially demoted again for the season finale.
