Police respond to a mall in Little Rock, Arkansas, after reports of shots being fired on Black Friday.

The Park Plaza Mall was evacuated, although police said it was an “isolated incident” and not an active shooting.

Police said they responded to a call about an “active attacker” at around 1:45 p.m. local time.

Preliminary reports indicate an exchange of gunfire occurred at a store between two people who knew each other.

Images from the crime scene show a large police presence and medical personnel outside the shopping center.

It remains unclear whether anyone was injured in the shooting or whether any arrests have been made.

Christmas shoppers who were at the mall took to social media to say they were being evacuated after shots were fired inside the mall.

“We just ran out of Park Plaza Mall after shots were fired,” shopper Brittany Shannon wrote on Facebook.

“I’m not sure where and how many injuries there were, but of course we don’t have to say we’re done shopping for the day.”

“PLEASE AVOID PARK PLAZA MALL!” Claudetta McElhaney added on Facebook.

“My husband just called and said there were about 25 to 30 police officers at Park Plaza Mall. ‘Please avoid the area and raise your prayers!’
