The Dallas Cowboys may not be contending for the Super Bowl this season, but don’t tell the star wide receiver that CeeDee Lamb There is nothing valuable at stake.

Lamb put his body on the line week after week, even though Dallas’ record was under .500 for most of the season at quarterback Dak Prescott for the season. This has paid off in many ways for the Cowboys, as they have been extremely competitive in recent weeks, even defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who looked poised for a playoff berth last Sunday.

Lamb then spoke to the media and revealed that he is still dealing with tremendous pain from a shoulder injury. However, it’s important to him to be there for his team every week, and he never misses an opportunity to wear the Cowboys’ star on his helmet when he’s able to play, even if it’s a near-lost season.

“My shoulder’s out of balance, I’m not even going to lie to you,” Lamb said of Jon Machota The Sporty. I’m just out there fighting and doing what I do. It’s not fun. … I love this game so much. I’m literally willing to put my body on the line for my boys.”

That doesn’t fit the narrative many created for Lamb when he dropped out of training camp to get a new contract from the Cowboys. For anyone who believes that wide receiver is only for the money, that opinion is absolutely wrong.

“I feel like I’ve moved way beyond the money situation narrative now,” Lamb added. “I do it for the money, of course, but it’s much more than that. … I’m living my dream. For anyone who thinks I’m (just) playing for money, that’s kind of crazy.”

Despite inconsistent quarterback play and a roller coaster offensive system, Lamb has put up some of the best numbers in the league. He has accumulated 101 receptions (T-2nd) and 1,194 receiving yards (3rd). His touchdown numbers are down at six (T-20), but that has more to do with the team’s offense than Lamb’s abilities.

While the Cowboys were eliminated from the playoffs in Week 16 due to poor results, CeeDee Lamb and his teammates are hoping to finish the season strong and continue their impressive play to gain some momentum heading into 2025. Dallas seemed dead in the water a few weeks ago, but that couldn’t be further from the truth at the moment.
