The Boston Celtics continued their road trip with a 108-104 loss to the Orlando Magic in Monday’s night bout at the Kia Center.

Boston fell to 22-7 while Orlando improved to 19-12.

Monday’s game was actually a story of two halves. The Celtics started well in the Sunshine State, jumping out to a 15-point halftime lead over an even undermanned Magic squad.

Things certainly changed in the second half as the Magic came out firing, getting hot from the perimeter and flying past the Celtics. Orlando won the second half 65-46 to secure a four-point victory.

Here are three guys and two duds from the Celtics loss.

SUPPORT
Jaylen Brown
Brown rolled out of the gates for the Celtics on Monday night. The reigning NBA Finals MVP quickly scored 15 points in the first quarter against the Magic. He also nearly brought Boston back, scoring a game-winning basket that cut the deficit to one in the fourth quarter.

Brown led the Celtics with 35 points and was able to improve the offense since Jayson Tatum was out due to illness.

Monday marked Brown’s fourth 30-point game of the season.

Jrue holiday
White delivered a solid performance that would have looked better without his five turnovers. Holiday made impressive plays in the fourth quarter, scoring 16 points, nine rebounds and three steals.

Kristaps Porzingis
The Celtics big man got to the finish line consistently in Orlando, sinking 13 of his 14 free throw attempts on Monday night. That partially made up for a poor shooting night from the field, in which Porzingis shot just 2 of 10 and missed all four three-point attempts.

Idiots
Boston’s three-point shooting
Both teams shot less than 20% from distance overall in the first half. The Celtics particularly struggled with perimeter shooting on an 8-for-32 night.

Sam Hauser
Boston’s sharpshooter played 16 minutes Monday night, didn’t attempt a shot and committed three fouls.
