The TRX exchange is preparing for the end of 2024 with its highly anticipated New Year’s Eve countdown party. Following the success of last year’s event, which attracted an impressive crowd, this year’s celebration promises to be even more spectacular.

Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, The Exchange TRX – a hub for exceptional experiences and premium brands – is preparing to host its second New Year’s Eve countdown party. As the sun dips below the horizon, Raintree Plaza will come to life with music, energy and a touch of stardust. Headlining the show is none other than the multi-talented Henry Lau, Canadian singer-songwriter and K-pop sensation from Super Junior-M, along with American pop duo Capital Cities. Yes, you read that right – you will dance to it Safe and healthy live.

They will be joined by Southeast Asian and Malaysian hip-hop pioneer Joe Flizzow and chart-topper SonaOne. Actress and singer-songwriter Daiyan Trisha brings some star power on site, serenading the crowd before DJ Ashley Lau and her Cherry Bomb partner Aida “Aidaho” Azrin hit the turntables and spin beats that will take you to 2025 let dance.

But wait, there’s more! Rising stars Yuji, Putri Dahlia, NYK, K-Town Clan, Saint Kylo and PALENCIA will deliver breathtaking performances.

How do you secure your spot at The Exchange TRX New Year’s Eve Countdown Party 2024?

The best thing about it: entry is absolutely free. All you have to do is show up early at the gate with your ID card or passport for verification. But remember: first come, first served and proof of age is mandatory. Not recommended for children under 12, and those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (no, “I am with my older sibling” is not enough unless they are 18+).

Gates open at 4:30 p.m., queue starts at 12 p.m. The main show starts at 5:00 p.m. So pack patience, comfortable shoes and a pinch of excitement.

The fun is spread across two zones: Raintree Plaza, where all the live performances and fireworks magic take place, and the General Zone, which offers a lively festival atmosphere. If you fancy, Lendlease Plus MY members can upgrade to the Members Zone with premium stage views, while App Loyalty members get access to the Viewing Lawn at Sunlight Plaza for panoramic fireworks displays and live streams of the show.

More than just music

If you’re feeling hungry, look no further than Raintree Plaza with food vendors offering everything from savory delicacies to sweet treats. And if you prefer late-night shopping to late-night snacking, over 70 stores are open at The Exchange TRX, including Kate Spade, Coach and Swarovski. Do you have room for more enjoyment? Visit Warung Eropa or Two Sons Bistro for a feast.
