Summary of the first warning

Tonight the disturbance offshore will intensify, creating an offshore rip current which will favor a round of light rain. These isolated showers will be possible, so our chance of rain is around 20%. Most of these light, transient showers will occur along I-95. Temperatures will drop to the low and mid 30s.

After a cloudy start to Christmas Eve, the sky will clear as the day progresses. It will be mostly sunny in the afternoon, with highs around 50°C. When Santa Claus arrives we will be mostly clear and cold. Temperatures will drop to as low as 30°C on Christmas morning.
