Devin Booker’s injury status for Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns

Both the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns have been incredibly inconsistent teams this season. In the Nuggets’ case, they had Nikola Jokic at their disposal during most of their unexpected losses. The Suns have suffered numerous losses due to injuries.

The Nuggets currently have a record of 15-11, with their last win coming in overtime against the weak New Orleans Pelicans. The Suns currently have a record of 14-13 and are on a two-game losing streak. As for desperation, the Suns should be even more desperate, but they will be missing out on a big star.

The Phoenix Suns have listed Devin Booker as out due to left groin soreness against the Denver Nuggets.

Booker has played in every single game for the Phoenix Suns this season except the last one against the Detroit Pistons. In 26 games, Booker averaged 25.1 points, 6.4 assists and 3.7 rebounds on 44/35/90 shooting from the field. Despite Booker’s averages, the Suns have lost five of their last seven games. The team will need a big performance from Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal tonight against the Nuggets.

Denver has struggled to get going lately and a win against the struggling Suns could really help. The two teams will face off again on Christmas Day in a second leg of today’s game.

The Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns meet tonight at 10:00 PM EST.
