A quiet revolt is stirring in women’s sports: female athletes are saying “enough” and refusing to play unfair matches against biologically male opponents.

This season, women’s volleyball players from the University of Wyoming, Utah State, the University of Nevada, Reno and Southern Utah forfeited games against San Jose State rather than play against Blaire Fleming, an allegedly transgender athlete for the Spartans.

Boise State’s squad didn’t just lose twice During the regular season, they made the painful decision to sit out the Mountain West Conference semifinal game against the Spartans.

Although coaches were fired for clearly stating the problems here, the team’s statement still made it clear: “Our team overcame failures to earn a spot in the tournament field and fought to defeat Utah in the first round on Wednesday State. They shouldn’t have to forgo this opportunity while they wait for a more thoughtful and better system that serves all athletes.”

Forcing female athletes, especially seniors playing their final season, to either play against biological males or give up any chance at a championship is not only unfair, it’s crazy.

But make no mistake, this is a question of Securityto.

This year alone, transgender athletes have injured their rivals during games in several cases.

In October, Fleming shot a ball into San Diego State player Keira Herron’s face, sending her flying to the ground.

Female athletes are clearly tired of being pushed around by typically bigger, stronger male opponents.

Their movement is heroic, but also infuriating: They must stand up for themselves because the sports bureaucracy is willing to sacrifice women’s sports careers and bodies in the service of advancing gender delusions.

Far too few universities are prepared to oppose trans ideology.

In fact, players from various schools and a coach tried to stop the trans athlete from participating in the tournament by filing a lawsuit in Colorado against the Mountain West Conference and San Jose State, but a judge ruled that the player would be ready on November 25th could, and an appeals court upheld the decision the next day.

There is hope for a return to sanity: President-elect Donald Trump has vowed to ban biological men from competing against women and girls.

The athletes who band together to stop this unjust madness deserve admiration; They sacrifice their season and risk the wrath of the left to save the sport they love.

History will not look kindly on the leaders who failed to stand with them.
