โ€œIt is different, and yes, it can feel challenging and even lonely at times, especially when adjusting to a new family dynamic. But over time I discovered the beauty of it. It is a chance for my children to build meaningful relationships with both parents, and for me it creates space for self-discovery, healing and rejuvenation.โ€

She continued that as a single mother, she can sometimes feel the “burden” of the fact that her family doesn’t look like everyone else’s.

โ€œBut you know what? That’s okay. Different does not mean less than. The most important thing is to keep the traditions alive for my children – because no matter what it looks like, we are still a family. ๐Ÿ’›,โ€ Mowry wrote.

At the end of her caption, she offered some advice to anyone else co-parenting during the holidays, telling them, “Know that you are not alone.”

โ€œEven in the transitions there is joy. Let’s continue to create these special moments for our children no matter what. โค๏ธ,โ€ she said.

Last November, Mowry brought her two children with her to the premiere of ” Moana 2.

After the event, Mowry shared scenes of herself with her children posing next to Moana on her Instagram. Wearing a baby pink coat and matching pink satin button-down shirt, the mother of two held hands with Cairo, who wore a leopard jacket and pink dress.

On the other side of Moana, Cree wore a gray sweater and white pants and smiled next to his sister and mother. โ€œI had the BEST time with my family at the Moana premiere last night! ๐ŸŒŠโœจ,โ€ Mowry wrote in her caption.

She added, “It’s always a blessing to spend time with my children and I’m so grateful to @disneyand Moana2 for creating memories (and movies!) that we can cherish forever.” ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ’–.โ€
