After about an hour, American Airlines was allowed to resume flights, which caused some delays and stress, but luckily “It only took about an hour and we are currently only about 30 minutes late. Now we’re keeping our fingers crossed,” said traveler Scott Harrill. Harill’s family was also hit by winter weather on Friday as they traveled to Massachusetts. But their pilot handed out candy and that smoothed things over. As for Monday morning’s hiccup, American Airlines blamed a “provider technology issue,” apologized to customers and added that they have their hands full getting people where they need to go .
