Here’s how to watch #13 Purdue (5-1) vs. #23 Ole Miss (6-0) in the Rady Children’s Invitational & Open Thread

Purdue pulled away from NC State as the second half progressed yesterday and secured its spot in the Rady Children’s Invitational championship game tonight. On the other hand, BYU and Ole Miss played an incredibly competitive game. BYU’s Cathings’ early, sharp shots made it look like they were the team to beat, but Ole Miss fought back and took the lead in the second half. The game ended on the last possession without either team managing to score another point and the game lasted five minutes longer. OT baby! Ole Miss played a much better overtime game than BYU’s boys and came away with a win.

Now the two teams will meet tonight at 6:00 p.m. to determine their champion.

WHO: #13 Purdue (6-1) vs. #23 Ole Miss (6-0)

When: 6pm ET

Where: San Diego, California – LionTree Arena (Capacity 4,000)

TV: FOX (Cory Provus, Robbie Hummel)

Radio: Purdue Global Radio Network (Rob Blackman, Bobby Riddell)

Purdue still only has one loss this season and while this isn’t quite as prestigious as Maui, which Purdue won last year, a win here would certainly send the message that Purdue once again cannot be ignored. This will also count as a Quad 1 win. It’s never too early to start thinking about your NCAA Tournament resume.
