Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak wander through a winter wonderland.

The Christmas queen and the “Leave the Door Open” singer were photographed holding hands while having dinner in Aspen on Sunday, December 22nd.

Carey, 55, wore a tan tweed coat with faux fur trim, a matching skirt and a cream sweater. Meanwhile, Paak, 38, opted for a black corduroy jacket and silver-framed glasses. .Paak was seen grabbing Carey’s hand as they entered Catch Steak restaurant together.

According to TMZ, the musicians are not together and were only working on new songs together. Representatives for Carey and .Paak did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

While in Aspen, Carey was also spotted wearing a $17,000 Gucci outfit on Saturday, December 21. She paired the oatmeal-colored dress and cardigan (with festive fringe) with a cream Gucci winter hat and matching boots.

Her trip to Colorado came after the singer wrapped up her Christmas Time Tour, which was marred this year by a recent bout of flu that led to three shows being canceled.

“It’s probably something I’ll always do,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively about her holiday shows. “I just have to plan it a little differently because I got sick this year just from being outside too long.”

She also said she hasn’t gotten tired of Christmas music, even after touring and playing her 2010 holiday hit “Oh, Santa” in Aspen. “Right now, ‘Oh, Santa’ is playing on the speakers and I’m thinking, ‘I guess I’m not sick of it.’ “

.Paak toured the US this fall with his band The Free Nationals, playing his second album, Malibuin its entirety.

He also made his directorial debut with the film K Pops!which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. His teenage son Soul Rasheed plays the lead role in the feature-length film.

.Paak shares sons Soul and Shine Tariq with his estranged wife Jaylyn Chang, from whom he separated in early 2024. Their divorce is not yet finalized.
