With casting speculation for the new live-action film Harry Potter The series about Max is at an all-time high, a new summary of the plot and details about the filming have appeared.

According to Production Bulletin, Warner Bros. Television plans to begin production on the highly anticipated film Harry Potter Series in summer 2025. The report also revealed that the series will be filmed in London, England. Warner Bros. owns and operates its own production studio in Leavesden, England, which will likely serve as the main location for set construction and filming. Other Warner Bros. Max shows filmed there include: Its dark materials, Harry Potter: Wizard of Bakingand the game of Thrones Prequel series House of the Dragon.

The report also revealed a new synopsis for the highly anticipated Harry Potter Max series. The series is described as a live-action show that chronicles the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc revolves around Harry’s battle against Lord Voldemort, a dark wizard who wants to become immortal, overthrow the wizarding government agency known as the Ministry of Magic, and subjugate all wizards and Muggles (non-magical people). Each season of the series is based on one of JK Rowling’s seven books.

Casting speculation continues

Many of the popular casting speculations were repeated in the report. The mentions include Ready, player oneMark Rylance for the role of Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, Ted LassoBrett Goldstein for Rubeus Hagrid and Janet McTeer, Sharon Horgan and The mummyis Rachel Weisz for Professor Minerva McGonagall. In addition, Paapa Essiedu and The penguinMark Strong was mentioned for the role of Professor Severus Snape.
