ABC is heading into 2025 with several exciting titles and one of their comedy bets is the new sitcom Changing gears. The show stars Tim Allen (Santa Claus) And Cat Dennings (Thor: The Dark World) as a father-daughter duo forced to live together after the wife realizes she’s broke and has nowhere to go. To preview the premiere episode titled “Restoration“The network revealed a series of images that also provide a first insight into the situation Seann William Scotts (American cake Franchise character Gabriel. The comedy series is scheduled to premiere on January 8th.

The pictures reveal that Changing gears will primarily take place in two scenarios: the house that Matt (Allen) will share with his daughter Riley (Dennings) and the body shop where he restores classic cars. Scott will be a family friend who works with Matt in the restoration shop. Changing gears will share its time slot with a very popular sitcom Abbott Elementary Schoolwhich will return from hiatus to continue season four on the same day the new series debuts. The network is hoping for a strong Wednesday night comedy block, which means it has high hopes for the Allen Dennings series.
