Kim Kardashian has caused a stir after sharing a spooky music video for her cover of the holiday classic “Santa Baby” on Instagram.

The 44-year-old reality TV star, who recently wore a necklace once worn by Princess Diana and also praised one of the most controversial films of the year, has now recorded a Christmas song.

The American horror story The actress produced the song with her brother-in-law Travis Barker through his DTA Records and her company Kimsaprincess, Inc.

The song, which has an unorthodox lofi feel, was released alongside a music video in which Kardashian, wearing a blonde wig and ill-fitting clothes, crawls through a house where chaotic, religious and often surreal scenes take place.

The video was directed by Nadia Lee Cohen and Charlie Denis and features a cameo from Macaulay Culkin, who was apparently the person who filmed the bizarre events while dressed as Santa Claus.

The clip, which has been viewed more than 10 million times, sparked a divisive reaction from her followers.

In the comments, Kardashian’s sister Khloe wrote, “Come on Santa!!”

Another person added: “I love this nostalgia coupled with the shitty realities of life and the nod to limitless horror films of pure genius and it sounds great.”

A third fan said: “Creativity at 100 percent. I love how you consistently challenge the status quo. Let them talk.”

However, many were unimpressed and confused, with some even accusing the star of blasphemy.

“It made me feel pretty uncomfortable. “It seems to highlight many of the themes often criticized about Hollywood and feels like it undermines the true meaning of Christmas,” said one critic.

Another wrote: “I thought you were a Christian Kim and this video is blasphemous. Psst!

A third added: “Just because you can doesn’t mean you should…”

It comes as Kardashian is reportedly dating a real estate investor who is not in the public spotlight.
