Christmas is just around the corner and whether you’re hosting the holiday celebration at home or traveling elsewhere, a midday cup of coffee could be just what the doctor ordered.

While most grocery, retail and restaurant chains will remain closed on Christmas Day, consumers looking for a cup of coffee are in luck as most Starbucks locations will remain open on December 25th.

The chain’s hours vary by location, meaning some will be open while others may be closed. The company encourages customers to contact their nearest location for exact holiday hours. Customers can also use the store locator feature on the Starbucks app or website to find information about their local Starbucks store.

A five-day strike ultimately led to at least 170 Starbucks stores closing on Christmas Eve, but the work stoppage was scheduled to end on Christmas Day.

Which restaurants are open and closed on Christmas?

The following restaurants will be open on Christmas day. Opening hours are listed for the companies that provided them.

• honking; 4 p.m. to midnight

  • Kansas City locations open for the Kansas City Chiefs game at 11 a.m. local time and close at 10:30 p.m

• Red Lobster; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m

• Fogo de Chao; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m
