Suns rule out 3 players for Christmas game against Nuggets

The Phoenix Suns ruled out Devin Booker, Grayson Allen and Bol Bol for their Christmas game against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.

Booker is dealing with a left groin strain that kept him out of the last two losses, prompting Phoenix to say Booker would be re-evaluated. Allen remains in the concussion protocol, while Bol has a bruised left knee and hasn’t appeared in a game since Dec. 8.

Two-players TyTy Washington Jr. and Collin Gillespie were also ruled out for G League action.

For Denver, guard Jamal Murray received a questionable withdrawal due to a right ankle sprain. He played 41 minutes in an overtime win on Sunday. He’s on pace to average fewer than 20 points per game for the first season since 2019-20.

Valley native first-round pick DaRon Holmes II (right Achilles tendon) and Vlatko Cancar (left knee) were both out for the Nuggets as they continue their injury rehab.
