The Christmas Queen strikes again! Mariah Carey broke another record by topping the Hot 100 for a record-breaking 17th week with her holiday hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You” — and in the same week she announced a steamy new romance.

The 55-year-old was pictured with Anderson.Paak on December 22 in Aspen, Colorado, as the couple arrived hand-in-hand for a romantic dinner at Catch Steak.

Anderson – real name Brandon Paak Anderson – is 38 years old and an eight-time Grammy winner, rapper and producer.

Pictures showed Anderson holding Mariah tightly as security escorted her out of the car. Mariah wore a wide smile alongside her camel tweed winter coat with faux fur trim, a matching miniskirt and a cropped white T-shirt.

The next day, she posted on Instagram a photo of herself that had been shared on Billboard’s Instagram in celebration of the music news.

“This is unbelievable!!!! I will never take this for granted,” she captioned the post on her Stories. “Merry early Christmas!!!!”

Mariah is enjoying her time in Aspen since her Christmas tour ended; The day before dinner, she turned heads when she visited Gucci’s Aspen boutique wearing a $17,000 outfit straight from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection.

The mother of two welcomed the season in a coordinated ensemble that consisted of a chunky ribbed wool cardigan with shimmering rainbow fringe details and a matching sleeveless mini dress. The superstar paired the look with white snow boots, a white hat and aviator sunglasses.

Mariah spends most Christmases with her teenage twins Monroe and Moroccan in the Colorado snow town, and her decision to begin a blossoming new romance comes after her 2023 split from her partner Bryan Tanaka, with whom she has been every Christmas since 2016 Aspen had spent.

Hints of a breakup began circulating when the dancer was noticeably absent from the trip last year. He then confirmed on Instagram that he and Mariah had split, sharing that it was an amicable and amicable decision.

Mariah’s most famous relationship was with rapper and television host Nick Cannon, whom she married in 2008. They had their twins in 2011, but the two separated in 2014 and divorced in 2016.
