The story continues below

An unexpected intruder attempted a robbery in front of New Mexico State Police. It turns out that this green suspect was on the wanted list for stealing gifts from children at local schools. Today, officials warned students at the Rio Grande Educational Collaborative. To their surprise, they discover the green burglar, later identified as the Grinch, trying to sneak away with more presents. The police then pursued him.

Footage showed the Grinch trying to escape by running in the gym, in the cafeteria and even outside in the parking lot. Finally, the officers captured the green villain and handcuffed him. After the arrest, children embraced the Christmas spirit, showed kindness and welcomed the Grinch with open arms.

But police said no crime can go unpunished. Police said Grin’s heart has grown three sizes, but he still faces charges of burglary, resisting arrest and impersonating Santa Claus. The Grinch has yet to appear in court for the first time. KRQE News 13 will keep you updated as his case progresses.
