The PS5 Slim Digital model is available at Walmart for just $374 (was $449.99), while the PS5 Slim with CD drive costs $424 (was $499.99). Either way, you’ll save about $76 off the retail price.

Is it a bit cheeky of Walmart to discount the PS5 just before Christmas? Certainly, but we expect the retailer to have to sell off inventory before the new year; However, it’s a nice bonus that they will be shipped today in time for the big day.

Today’s best last-minute PS5 Christmas deals

We weren’t really expecting to find one of the best PS5 deals of the year just before Christmas, but here we are. Whether you choose the Digital Edition or the model with a built-in disc drive, the $75.99 savings is a big benefit – so you can get yourself some of the best PS5 games or possibly an additional DualSense Wireless Get a controller or a PS Plus subscription. Or, you know, maybe just a few extra gifts or snacks over the holidays.

It’s also worth noting that while the store pages state that the consoles will ship today, the availability of same-day delivery may depend on your region. We’re also seeing the consoles selling quickly, even though it’s still early morning at the time of writing – so you might need to snap it up as soon as you wake up.
