“He was such an idiot.” The Santa Claus guest star called playing with Tim Allen “the worst experience she’s ever had”

Santa Claus was a Christmas hit from 1994 that was brought back to life in 2022 when Disney+ decided to make a TV series based on the film story. Tim Allen returned to his role in it and was the star of the production.

However, working with him reportedly did not go smoothly. That’s what Casey Wilson, who had a guest appearance, says The Santa Clauses and has poor memories of her time on set with Allen. The actress confessed her podcast that “everyone around him was walking on eggshells.” Wilson recounted her own awkward situation with Allen, after which the actor never looked her in the eyes or spoke to her again.

Tim Allen was such an idiot. It was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a co-star.

So I’m in a scene. It’s just me and Tim Allen and I’m supposed to throw things at him. I think he’s a burglar. So he comes down the chimney, obviously as Santa Claus, and I’m woken up thinking there’s an intruder, basically like a house break-in scene. So I throw things at him. (He) walks up to the producer who’s standing three feet away from me and leaves, and I hear him, he says, “You have to tell her to stop stepping on my lines.” The producer turns in horror in the face to me and has to step towards me with one foot and says: “Um, Tim would ask you to stop stepping on his lines.”

When he finished he was so damn rude. Never made eye contact, never said anything. It was so uncomfortable.

And apparently she wasn’t the only one who didn’t take Wilson’s confession lightly One of the people on set told her that she would have to deal with Allen on his “good day.”

It’s the end and Tim Allen says “Leaving!”, takes his Santa Claus cape, picks it up, drops it on the floor and walks out. And they hasten to represent him; amiable man, towards whom one could act much nicer. People rush to pick up his velvet Santa Claus coat. He sucks. And that’s the best part… I won’t say who said that. This was someone I don’t know, maybe from the crew. (He or she) scurries past me and simply says, “You see him on a good day.”

Casey Wilson isn’t the first person to have bad memories of working with Tim Allen. Previously, Pamela Anderson, who starred with him in Home Improvement, complained about the actor. A disturbing incident is said to have occurred at that time – in her biography, Anderson described how Allen allegedly exposed himself to her. Tim Allen denied these reports (via Variety).
