Carole Middleton and her daughter Princess Kate melted hearts in a touching moment at this year’s wedding Royal Carols: Together at Christmas service.

The festive event, hosted by the Princess of Wales, brought together members of the royal family and special guests to celebrate Christmas.

Carole, 69, sat proudly in the audience at Westminster Abbey and watched as Kate led the evening with grace and poise.

At some point during the event, cameras caught the mother-daughter duo exchanging a warm look.

Carole, who sat with her husband Michael and daughter Pippa, looked radiant in a chic cream coat from Max Mara.

Her pride in Kate was evident as the princess took center stage alongside her children Prince Louis, six, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince George, 11.

Fans were quick to comment on the sweet exchange, with many taking to social media to praise the Middleton family’s unwavering support of one another.

“Carole looked at the Wales family. They sat across from each other,” one fan wrote with a sharp look, while another added: “Your smile for her (tears in eyes emoji).”

The special program, Royal Carols: Together at Christmasaired on ITV on Christmas Eve, with touching tributes to individuals and organizations who have offered comfort and support to others in times of need.

In an audio recording at the beginning, the princess said: “The Christmas story encourages us to think about the experiences and feelings of others.”

“It also reflects our own vulnerabilities and reminds us of the importance of giving and receiving empathy and how much we need each other despite our differences.”
