CHRISTMAS DAY

It’s probably no surprise that this Christmas won’t be white. The odds are against us most years. Clouds will remain throughout the day, with highs around 40° and lows around 50°. Watch out for patchy fog if you head out early in the morning.

SECOND HALF OF THE WEEK

Our pattern becomes a little more volatile in the second half of the week. Weak disturbances in the upper elevations may bring a light drizzle here and there, but on the whole many of us will stay dry into the weekend.

A stronger front arrives on Sunday, bringing with it widespread rain chances to end the weekend.

A first look at long-term models shows that it will get warmer at the beginning of 2024. This means wintry weather is less likely for the rest of the month.
