After a masterful press tour, the biopic about Timothée Chalamet and Bob Dylan is headlining in theaters. By director James Mangold, A complete unknown covers the beginnings of the musician’s rise to fame in the early 1960s through to Dylan’s controversial use of electric instruments at the Newport Folk Festival. The strong supporting cast includes Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez and Elle Fanning as Dylan’s girlfriend Sylvie Russo.

Nicole Kidman is the titular baby girl. In the 2022 sequel from filmmaker Halina Reijn Body, body, bodyIn Kidman, Romy, the company’s CEO, has an erotic tryst with intern Samuel (a charming Harris Dickinson), causing potential problems for her job, her family, and her marriage to theater director Jacob (Antonio Banderas). It’s definitely not the best movie on this list to watch with the family this holiday season, but it’s definitely worth the sneaky solo trip to the theater.

➼ 2024, the year of Nicole Kidman.

Director Robert Eggers and Nosferatu is as natural a combination as peanut butter and jelly. The gothic filmmaker assembled a fantastic cast with Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter, a woman plagued by longing for the deviously dark vampire at the center of the film (Count Orlok, played by Bill Skarsgård). Nicholas Hoult plays Ellen’s husband, along with Willem Dafoe as Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz (a character based heavily on…). Dracula’s Abraham Van Helsing).

Doctor Who are no strangers to Christmas specialties. There she and the Doctor fight villains and dinosaurs, but all to save Christmas.

Okay, technically speaking Evil hasn’t even left theaters yet, but Universal is offering sing-along screenings of the musical with lyrics on screen! While previous screenings have encouraged fans to keep their distance during them Evilyou can now go to these scheduled screenings and try out the “Defying Gravity” riff for yourself (though remember, these are Cynthia Erivo’s lyrics). Disney wasted no time getting it Night slut on streaming. In fact, I’m not even sure it had a proper theatrical release since it barely premiered in limited theaters on December 6th. That means you probably haven’t had a chance to watch Amy Adams deal with motherhood in this surreal comedy directed by Marielle Heller. As the title suggests, Adams plays a mother who turns into a dog.
