PITTSBURGH – Santa Claus might be a yinzer.

After missing three games with a hamstring injury, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens is off the injury report and is expected to play on Christmas Day against the Kansas City Chiefs.

“I feel good, but who makes the decision is the trainers and the doctors,” Pickens said Monday. “So I just do what they tell me.”

Not only do the Steelers get their top wide receiver back for the holiday showdown with the AFC’s top team, safety DeShon Elliott, cornerback Donte Jackson and defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi are all without game designations on the Steelers’ latest injury report and are expected to be also do play.

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (knee) and wide receiver Ben Skowronek (hip) are out after sustaining injuries in Saturday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Backup quarterback Justin Fields is questionable with an abdominal injury. He missed Saturday’s game due to the same injury.

When commenting after Monday’s practice, Pickens remained tight-lipped about his status but was listed, along with Elliott and Jackson, as full participants for the team’s tour on Monday and practice on Tuesday. The Steelers missed Pickens during his three-week absence and lost their last two games to the Eagles and Ravens.

“I mean, a lot,” Pickens said of how much the offense missed him. “I want to be out there with the guys, but they tried their best to fight hard, to get a dub, to get a win.”

The Steelers (10-5) are tied with the Ravens (10-5) at the top of the AFC North standings with two games to go. The Ravens also play on Wednesday against the Houston Texans (9-6).

Meanwhile, with a win or a draw on Wednesday, the Chiefs (14-1) would secure the AFC’s No. 1 seed, the lone seed and home-court advantage in the conference playoffs.
