“Crypto really brought us home: With over 250 million views and one million social media posts, ‘Superman’ is officially the most-watched and talked-about trailer in DC and Warner Bros. history,” Gunn wrote. “It’s up to all of you: thank you! According to Gunn, the Superman teaser views blew a lot of this year’s studio tentpoles out of the water. For example, the first “Joker: Folie à Deux” trailer opened with 167 million views in the first 24 hours, while “Inside Out 2,” the highest-grossing film of the year, took in $1.6 billion at the global box office , trailer premiered with 157 million views.
