The Kansas City Chiefs are less than a quarter away from securing the No. 1 seed for the AFC playoffs in January.

In the final frame of Kansas City’s Week 17 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, veteran running back Kareem Hunt hit paydirt with a rushing touchdown that might have sealed the Chiefs’ win.

After three hard-fought quarters of play, Kansas City had an unassailable lead when Hunt put the Chiefs up 10 points.

Although Hunt has played a smaller role in Kansas City’s offense since the return of Isiah Pacheco from the Chiefs’ injured reserve list, the former Toledo Rocket is still a force to be reckoned with in the running game.
