TV, announcer hired for Georgia Football vs. Georgia Tech

Georgia football has one game left before the start of the postseason, and it’s their annual matchup with in-state rival Georgia Tech. UGA may be the heavy favorite against the Yellow Jackets again this season, but that will be thrown out the window when these two teams face off. Ultimately, all that matters is that Georgia wins, be it by one point or 40 points.

This will not be an easy task as Georgia Tech is a very solid team that will want to play spoilsport against Georgia and its College Football Playoff hopes.

But before the game begins on Friday, let’s see who fans will hear on TV calling the game.

Georgia Football will face Georgia Tech on Friday, November 29th at 7:30 pm EST on ABC. Joe Tessitore and Jesse Palmer will host the game on television for ABC, while Katie George will roam the sidelines.

This game is unique to Georgia. The obvious reason is that it’s on a Friday night, which is strange and gives the Bulldogs a day less rest and preparation after their win over UMass last weekend. Georgia Tech also played on Thursday last week, giving the Yellow Jackets two additional days of rest compared to Georgia.

Additionally, Georgia already knows they will be playing in the SEC Championship Game next week, so there is a chance they will look past that game as they hope to compete for a championship. Hopefully Kirby Smart doesn’t let that happen, because the Yellow Jackets team is more than capable of pulling off this upset.

Hopefully Georgia fans rock Sanford Stadium because UGA will need as much help as possible to ensure Georgia Tech doesn’t pull off an upset on Friday.
