Chiefs announce Anthem singers for Black Friday Showdown vs. Raiders

The Chiefs have officially announced their pregame festivities plans for a Black Friday showdown with the Las Vegas Raiders at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Four-time All-Pro RT Mitchell Schwartz, who won a Super Bowl with the team in 2020, will serve as drum honoree, while choral group The Bonner Family will sing the national anthem and perform at halftime.

Kickoff takes place at 2:00 p.m. CT and will be available in the local market on KSHB 41. Otherwise, it will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

The Bonner Family is considered one of Utah’s most popular family music ensembles and specializes in gospel music. They have performed around the world for years and will now take center stage in the most important NFL match of the day.

It’s an exciting time for Chiefs fans as they look forward to welcoming both RB Isiah Pacheco and DE Charles Omenihu back from injuries. The Raiders are in the midst of a miserable season and are perhaps the worst team in the league, giving Kansas City a perfect opportunity to get a big win over an inferior opponent.

For Schwartz, it’s a special moment of recognition for a beloved player who helped transform the offense and protect Patrick Mahomes. Fans know the thrill of the pregame drumming ceremony, which gives a normally enthusiastic audience a brief chance to express their appreciation for their contributions to the organization.

FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Chiefs as 12.5-point favorites with massive -850 odds on the money line, giving Kansas City an 89.47% chance of winning using implied probability.
