Jay Leno has suffered a series of injuries in recent years that have left him looking worn out, and Bill Maher wants to know if there’s more to it than mere clumsiness.

In the latest episode of Maher’s Club randomly Podcast, the Real time The moderator discussed Leno’s most recent accident in November when this Tonight’s show The host fell down a hill while staying at a hotel in Pennsylvania and was later discovered with a black eye and a severe bruise on his face.

“Did you see what? demander “Said about your spill?” Maher asked Leno. “Well, it’s a conspiracy theory, because you’ve had three accidents, that you actually have gambling debts and are getting beaten up by the mafia.”

Leno smiled before answering, “I love the idea that the mob would drive to Greenburg, Pennsylvania and wait outside the Hampton Inn on a rainy day to throw me down the hill.”

Maher playfully countered Leno’s statement, saying, “That’s not what they say; Please don’t misrepresent this demander. They say, ‘Throw yourself down the hill’ was your cover story, and they just beat you up like the mafia always does.”

The latest accident occurred last month when Leno left his hotel in Pennsylvania and walked down a 60, 70-foot hill to get to a nearby restaurant. He fell and hit his face on a stone, injuring his eye.

Despite the accident, the late night legend performed another performance a few hours later before heading to the hospital. “The great thing about this age is that you don’t learn from mistakes. “You keep doing the same stupid thing,” he said TMZ at the time.

This is Leno’s third serious accident in recent years. In November 2022, he suffered third-degree burns to his face after one of his cars caught fire while he was working on it in his garage. He then spent weeks in the intensive care unit, where he required multiple skin grafts.

Then, in January 2023, he was involved in a motorcycle accident in which he suffered multiple broken bones and another facial wound. He was testing a 1940 motorcycle when he turned onto a street and didn’t notice that someone had strung a cable across the street. “I didn’t see it until it was too late. “It just pulled me into the clothesline and, boom, threw me off the bike,” Leno shared at the time.

Leno joked about Maher’s injuries, quipping, “I got a face makeover when my face caught fire, and two months later I had to call my ‘face guy’ and say, ‘I need a different face.’

Returning to the article, Maher shared, “(It) started with the statement, ‘Jay Leno, who is worth $450 million, has gambling debts.’ I thought that was quite a gambling debt.”

“I like the idea that they wouldn’t just take one of my cars for the gambling debts,” Leno added.
