Why overcomplicate something here? If we scored 54 total yards on Cooper Kupp in a primetime divisional game against an Arizona Cardinals defense (that still has a lot of the old plays they had before), we’d be all over it. Especially with as good as Matthew Stafford is playing lately.

He’s already averaging 61.9 receiving yards per game, giving us almost all of the receiving yards in this market. And certainly we are. He has rushed for a total of 24 yards in the last eight quarters. Something is wrong.

Honestly, I think the conditions had everything to do with it. The weather was a problem in Week 15 in San Francisco, and you might think that the entire West Coast team is heading east for a cold and lull in play in early December. The Rams barely had the ball in the first half of Week 16 against the Jets and Cooper Kupp didn’t have to do much more than block Kyren Williams’ 122 rushing yards.

I think the nine-to-ten connection that has made this Rams era so electrifying will be on full display tonight at home.
