Gary O’Neil provides an encouraging injury update from Wolves as several first-team players return for the game against Bournemouth

Wolves host Bournemouth on Saturday, with Gary O’Neil providing an encouraging update on injuries to several Old Gold stars.

The Wolves have a great chance on Saturday. After a difficult start to the season, the club seemed to have finally turned things around.

O’Neil’s team is unbeaten in four games, including wins in the last two games.

As a result, the Old Gold players have finally moved out of the relegation zone and are in 17th place in the Premier League.

With Bournemouth next in line, another win could see them move further away before they face fellow strugglers Everton in midweek.

Bournemouth are already without Antoine Semenyo, which is undoubtedly a big boost for the Old Gold.

Now O’Neil has increased his optimism further as he confirmed that several first-team players should return for the clash.

Santiago Bueno’s importance in the Wolves squad has increased dramatically this season.

After Yerson Mosquera’s cruciate ligament injury, the Uruguayan played regularly and improved steadily over the course of the season.

Bueno was “outstanding” in the 2-2 draw with Brighton, meaning it was a huge blow when the defender suffered a knock during the recent international break.

After missing the Fulham win, Bueno has since been spotted back in Wolves training.

Now O’Neil has confirmed he is fit for the game and ready for selection.

Expected return: Bournemouth (30 November)

Another defender who missed the big win against Fulham was Craig Dawson. The centre-back was at the heart of Wolves’ defensive line and impressed.

However, an illness prevented him from taking part in the final game, so Mario Lemina had to play in the back four.

Now, ahead of Bournemouth, O’Neil confirmed he will be available again upon his return from illness.

Pablo Sarabia has returned to the Wolves lineup after limited playing time at the start of the season.

However, similar to last season, his performance off the bench against Brighton helped him regain his place in the starting XI.

As a result, the Spaniard scored an important goal against Southampton before the international break and helped the Old Gold to their first win in the Premier League.

Before the clash with Fulham, Sarabia sustained a calf injury which forced him to miss the clash.

Ahead of Bournemouth, Sarabia is also expected to be back after O’Neil confirmed he has recovered.

Sam Johnstone has been regularly missing from the Wolves squad in recent weeks.

The goalkeeper was brought in to challenge José Sa for the top spot but has not played since the crushing 5-3 defeat to Brentford.

Johnstone was confirmed ill last weekend despite speculation from Molineux supporters and is expected to return to the squad against Bournemouth.
