Pat McAfee is dismantling the Indianapolis Colts franchise, Anthony Richardson says he won’t renew season tickets

Pat McAfee He didn’t hold back when asked about his thoughts on the Indianapolis Colts following their playoff exit. On X (formerly Twitter), the former Colts punter responded to a fan who wanted McAfee to talk about the Colts on his show on Monday.

“I said what I think is the truth about the team. And a lot of ‘Colts fans’ on the internet tried to boo me out of town. Current players who haven’t won anything in their entire season “I have begun to use myself and my face to portray myself as the enemy of the city to which I have dedicated my life,” McAfee wrote. “And in the end…everything went…just like I damn well said. In the biggest moments, anyone with a brain knew they would collapse…and they did.”

McAfee continued to talk about it Joe Flacco giving the Colts a better chance to win than Anthony Richardson. “When I said Joe Flacco gave us a better chance to win than AR immediately after elimination, I would have said whatever backup QB we had on the roster. That can’t be what the face of your team does. That simply can’t be the case. And by and large, AR kind of thought it was okay to do that. This is a locker room problem. This is a culture problem. This is an indicator that there is a losing attitude in a building built by the greats.”

Pat McAfee continues to rail against the Colts

McAfee also said he would not renew his season tickets next year. “As a holder of a multi-year season ticket (without renewal) and as someone who has actively tried to contribute to this beautiful city every day. I hope they become a good franchise again. This city deserves it. The OGs in the Colts building deserve it (equipment managers, coaches, ticketing, PR, sales). And on the other hand, the players/coaches in this building deserve whatever happens to them. Your unwarranted arrogance, laziness and lack of professionalism has led you to yet another early vacation… which is probably what most of you entitled bums were hoping for.”

On Sunday, the Colts lost to the New York Giants 45-33. Their record is now 7-9 on the year and they will miss the playoffs for the fourth straight year. Richardson, who did not play Sunday due to multiple injuries, has thrown eight touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 11 games with a passer rating of 61.6. He is expected to be the team’s starting QB in 2025.
