Hollywood star Gal Gadot reveals horrific health scare

Gal Gadot was rushed into emergency surgery after doctors found a “massive” blood clot in her brain while she was eight months pregnant with her youngest daughter Wonder Woman Stern revealed.

After weeks of “excruciating” headaches that left her bedridden, an MRI discovered the clot in February, and she underwent surgery just hours after receiving the diagnosis, Gadot, 39, wrote in an Instagram post on Sunday.

“My daughter Ori was born in this moment of uncertainty and fear. Her name, which means “my light,” was not chosen by chance,” she wrote. “Before the surgery, I told (my husband) Jaron that she would be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel when our daughter arrived.”

The surgery was a success, Gadot wrote, and thanks to her “extraordinary” doctors at Cedars Sinai Hospital, she made a full recovery and welcomed Ori in March. Gadot and husband Jaron Varsano, who run a production company together, also have daughters Alma, 13, Maya, 7, and Daniella, 3.

Gadot kept her health emergency secret for months, but she finally decided to share it to “pull back the curtain on curated social media moments” — and to raise awareness about the risk of blood clots during pregnancy.

“The birth of a child is a miracle, a testament to the strength and resilience of our bodies and minds. But it also asks so much of us that it reminds us to care for ourselves as deeply as we care for others,” she added in the comments section. “As we celebrate Hanukkah, a festival of light and miracles, I reflect on the personal miracle I have been granted.”
