However, she told Entertainment Tonight in January 2022 that Conover “kind of kissed” her during that vacation.

The couple attended the PGA Tour and their friends’ wedding together in August and September 2021, respectively, but showed no PDA.

Conover confirmed to People in October 2021 that he was in a relationship with DeSorbo and gushed that “everything happened naturally.”

DeSorbo broke her silence the following month, denying to “Call Her Daddy” listeners that the romance was a “PR stunt.”

In the November 2021 episode, she noted, “The only reason I didn’t post it (on Instagram) is because I didn’t take a network-worthy picture.”

“Sew with love,” she wrote, with the December 2021 caption referencing the businessman’s company Sewing Down South.

In March 2022, Conover told Page Six that he and his girlfriend were already thinking about “marriage and life together,” including “children and a family.”

DeSorbo spent this summer away from her New York apartment, temporarily living in South Carolina with her partner.

“We’re excited to move in together at some point,” Conover told BravoTV.com in April 2022. “That’s definitely the direction we’re going.”

In June 2022, the couple’s long-distance relationship was “working” but felt “increasingly difficult.”

Conover told E! News in October that he envisioned them living in Charleston in the future — but admitted that was “not (his) decision.”

“We’ll see what Paige wants to do,” he said at the time. “I love it up here, but I think when we start moving in the quieter direction it will be further south.”

“Long distance is definitely not an easy thing, but I have to say, I think Craig and I are handling it very well,” DeSorbo told People in February 2023. “I really love my life the way it is.”

Two months later, she made headlines for crying about a possible move in a trailer for Season 7 of Summer House.

“I would change my whole life,” DeSorbo said in April 2023. “I have no friends in Charleston. My entire career is in (New York).”

Hit the brakes

At BravoCon in October 2022, Conover was ready to get engaged to DeSorbo “whenever she was ready to say ‘yes.’

DeSorbo admitted on a May 2023 episode of “Summer House” that her hesitancy to take the next step made Conover “insecure.”

Of the businessman, he said: “I realized we have more to do than we thought.”

DeSorbo defended her decision not to settle down while speaking to The Post, saying the public would understand “if the roles were reversed and Craig, as a 30-year-old man, said he wanted to focus on his career and with the Marriage waiting.” .”

Cryptic comments

In November 2023, Conover was no longer “rushing” to get down on one knee, telling People that their relationship “had a more sustained flow, that’s what works for us, and let’s just enjoy it.”

He told DeSorbo on a “Summer House” episode the following month that it wouldn’t be “the end of the world” if they broke up because he had become a “stable person with or without” her.

“When we train, we train. “I hope we do,” Conover said in December 2023, but admitted it was “very likely” that wouldn’t be the case.

The following year, DeSorbo hinted at their impending breakup in a tearful trailer for Season 9 of “Summer House,” predicting that “everything she had would disappear” if they broke up.

End of an era

DeSorbo revealed her and Conover’s split on a December 2024 episode of her and Hannah Berner’s “Giggly Squad” podcast.

“Nobody did anything. “It wasn’t a bad thing,” she clarified. “I think we were both just very mature and said what we wanted and didn’t want. I find it extremely powerful to be able to express how you feel and what you want for the future in real time.”

The influencer called the separation the “right decision” for herself and Conover.
