Brock Purdy’s second touchdown pass gives the 49ers a 14-6 lead

The 49ers’ makeshift offensive line had no problems against the Lions’ makeshift defense. Brock Purdy is 7-for-7 and San Francisco is 2-for-2. The 49ers scored touchdowns on their first two drives, with Brock Purdy throwing a 3-yarder to Ricky Pearsall and a 9-yarder to Kyle Juszczyk. San Francisco leads 14-6. Purdy threw for 82 yards and George Kittle caught two for 38 yards. The Lions got a sack from Purdy on the first play of a six-play, 70-yard drive, but defensive tackle Al-Quadin Muhammad held George Kittle. The 5-yard penalty reset the downs and the 49ers marched right down the field.
