TRACKING WINTER WEATHER: We don’t have all the details yet about the winter storm later this weekend, but here’s what we know right now. A winter storm will hit the area Sunday through Monday. We could start with some freezing rain before it transitions to rain. The rain could then turn to snow before ending on Monday. There will be some travel impacts, but key to this forecast will be the precise track and strength of the low pressure system as it passes through the region. The details will be announced in the next few days.
