If Bournemouth can repeat their best-ever 19-game start in the second half of the season, tiny Bournemouth will be on tour in Europe next autumn. The Cherries (7th – 30 points) are in the middle of a seven-way race for places in the Europa League and Europa Conference League. Just two points separate Bournemouth from Newcastle in 5th place, and just three between them and Brighton in 10th. “They give you nothing for half the season,” Andoni Iraola said this week. So perhaps we will see Bournemouth become a player in the January transfer window and an incredible feat is within reach.

2025 looks set to be a massive year for Everton (16th – 17pts) as the club’s new owners have the opportunity to invest in the squad for the first time and the club prepares to leave Goodison Park in August for to move to its brand new 52,888-seat stadium. The sight of Bournemouth will not bring back many fond memories for the Toffees’ players or fans after they made an unwanted history in their last game: from 2-0 in the 87th minute to a 3-2 defeat in August A two-goal lead so late in a PL game had never resulted in defeat. To make matters worse, Everton have never won at Bournemouth (0W-2D-5L).

Bournemouth vs Everton forecast

Bournemouth also love a late goal (or 10) this season. Everton won’t give them many chances for most of the game, but there will be another cherry smash and grab at the end. Bournemouth 1-0 Everton.
