A powerful winter storm is raging across parts of the central and eastern United States

Winter storm warnings are in effect from Illinois to New Jersey. And there will be a lot of snow in some areas. You will also face freezing rain and ice, blustery winds and freezing temperatures.

Power outages were reported. Nearly a quarter of a million customers in Virginia, Kentucky and West Virginia are without power.

Here’s what we saw.
