In his first year as host of “Wheel of Fortune.” Ryan Seacrest definitely has a goal for 2025.

During an interview with Fox News Digital, the longtime TV host, who took over Pat Sajak’s “WoF” hosting duties alongside Vanna White in September, discussed his hopes for next year’s episodes.

“I’m always humbled and grateful for what the show meant to me before I even started working there and what it means to so many people and generations across the country,” the “American Idol” host said. , while attending the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Dec. 6 at the Intuit Dome. “I love giving money away. I get so excited when people win the money, and they win a lot of money. I hope to give away a million dollars in 2025.”

In June 2023, Sajak announced that he was leaving the show. A week later, it was announced that Seacrest would be there take over as host in season 42.

After Sajak’s final episode aired earlier this year, Seacrest went for it social media to say goodbye to the long-time host.

“Pat, congratulations on an incredible success with Wheel of Fortune! Your dedication, charm and wit have made the show a beloved part of American television for decades,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself, Sajak and White. “Your partnership with Vanna was nothing short of iconic and together they created countless wonderful memories for viewers. They have set the standard for hosts around the world and this marks the end of an era. I wish you all all the best for your future endeavors!”

During Sajak’s final episode, recorded in April, Sajak delivered one emotional farewell speech.

“Well, it’s time to say goodbye,” he said. “Before I go, I want to say a few thanks and thanks, and I want to start with everyone you out there watching. It has been an incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade.”

“I have always felt that with the privilege comes the responsibility to make this daily half hour a safe place for family fun,” Sajak continued. “No social issues, no politics, nothing embarrassing, I hope, just a game.”

Before his debut, brand expert Eric Schiffer told Fox News Digital exclusively that “Wheel” viewers are in good hands with Seacrest and his media mastermind.

“A lot of people ask, ‘Can he do it? Will he make it? Is he going to turn off the audience?’” Schiffer said. “Ryan has a sixth sense for how to make adjustments, and the adjustment here is to tone down the energy until he builds the trust of the audience. Then I think he can use some of the techniques he mastered on “Idol” to increase engagement and grow the audience.”
