Isabella Rossellini just graced the Golden Globes red carpet on Jan. 5, earning a nomination for best supporting actress in a motion picture for her portrayal of the quiet but stern Sister Agnes in the Vatican thriller “Conclave.” Although she only has a few lines in the film, they are poignant and attention-grabbing: so much so that her performance drew standing ovations at several screenings, according to Town & Country.

Another thing that deserves a standing ovation? Rossellini’s red carpet makeup look, supported by Lancôme and developed by Afghan-born artist Matin Maulawizada, who has previously collaborated with talent from Angelina Jolie to Jessica Chastain to Lupita Nyong’o. The final lip look was an almost perfect color match with Rossellini’s attire of choice – a custom Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda long-sleeved lace dress with an attached sheer cape, complemented by pointed heels and a chain-strap clutch in the same color tee. Maulawizada also used a new Lancôme product on her: the Lancôme Lash Idôle Flutter Extension Extension Mascara, which was applied to the upper and lower lashes.

This setup is just a little bolder than Maulawizada’s work on Rossellini for this year’s Palm Springs International Film Festival.
