Steve Sarkisian recaps the first half against the Texas A&M Aggies

COLLEGE STATION – Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian met with ESPN’s Holly Rowe at halftime of Saturday’s game against the Texas A&M Aggies at Kyle Field.

Texas led 17-0 at halftime.

Here’s what Sarkisian had to say about Quinn Ewers, Arch Manning and the defense:

“Well I think they both play good football, you know, Quinn moves well in the pocket. He takes advantage of some shots downfield. He is efficient. And Arch, he’s got great athleticism and just trying to use him as a player.” a little change up. … We win on first and second down, and then the key to the drill is winning on third down, and then the turnover was big too.

At halftime, Ewers was 11 of 17 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown. Mannign did not attempt a pass but had a 15-yard rushing touchdown to open the scoring.

The Longhorns get the kickoff for the second half.
