The Little Rock School District canceled all extracurricular sports and activities Thursday as the National Weather Service warns of inclement winter weather.

Additionally, the School Board agenda and work session scheduled for Thursday was postponed. The Agenda/Work Session is now scheduled for January 16 at 5:30 p.m.

The monthly school board meeting, originally scheduled for Jan. 23, is now scheduled for Jan. 30 at 5:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the school district boardroom at the Administration Building, 810 W. Markham St., Little Rock.

The district said it will announce the status of Thursday and Friday courses on Wednesday morning, Jan. 8.
