Congress is scheduled to meet Monday to certify President-elect Donald Trump’s 2024 victory, exactly four years after he incited a mob that attacked the Capitol in a failed attempt to disrupt the certification of his 2020 election defeat and keep him in power. This certification is expected to be significantly less dramatic than the last one.

Trump will be inaugurated on a federal holiday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, on Monday, January 20, 2025.
