UPDATE: Some government offices in Arkansas are closing; Meetings and events postponed | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

Some government offices have announced they will remain closed ahead of expected winter weather on Thursday and Friday. Several meetings and events have also been postponed.

Arkansas – Supreme Court and Court of Appeals Offices: Closed Thursday and Friday. Judges work remotely.

Little Rock – Planning Commission Meeting: Postponed to the next regular meeting on February 13 at Little Rock City Hall.

Little Rock – Citizens Review Board Meeting: Delay. Details have not yet been determined.

Little Rock – Civil Law Help Desk: Delay. Details have not yet been determined.

Little Rock High School at Dunbar Community Center: Non-accommodation activities are closed for the rest of the week.

Little Rock – Recycling Pickup for Sanitation and Waste Management: Delays likely.

Little Rock Zoo: Closed Thursday to Saturday. Depending on weather conditions it may remain closed on Sunday.

North Little Rock – Library system, including Argenta Library, Laman Library and Innovation Hub: Closed Thursday to Saturday

Conway – City Offices: Closed Thursday and Friday.

Sherwood-Bill Harmon Recreation Center: No basketball events Thursday through Saturday and no family swimming on Thursday.

Pulaski County – All county government offices: Closed Thursday and Friday.

Faulkner County Courthouses and County Offices: Closed Thursday and Friday.

Jefferson County – Judge’s Office: Closes at 12pm on Thursdays and closed on Fridays.
